Beyond Personal Advisory Boards

We’ve been working on Peadbo, a platform for Personal Advisory Board management for over a year now. The platform originated as a tool for building and managing advisory boards – like businesses have – but for individuals on their professional and personal journeys. As we've spent the last year building and learning from users, Peadbo has evolved into a comprehensive management tool for your community of supporters.

Popular networking platforms have become a bit too noisy. For context, after 2 days in LA for Tech Week, I have about 50 new LinkedIn connections. Very few of them will ever actually know me, and even fewer would know where to begin to try to offer help on my professional journey. Of my thousands of connections on this platform, there are about 100 whom I would like to be connected with on a more in-depth level.

I’m not sure what to call them, but they're somewhere between close friends and associates.

For this reason, Peadbo now offers personalized newsletters and stakeholder cohort management (e.g. “close friends and family” or “industry colleagues”), all while retaining the core functionality of scheduling, virtual board coaching, and action item tracking.

As we prepare for a summer launch, here’s what you can expect from Peadbo version 1.0

Personal Advisory Board Management:

The platform's foundation remains personal advisory board management. We understand the power of a trusted circle of advisors, coaches, and friends. Scheduling, virtual board coaching, and action item tracking features empower you to build one or more dedicated support teams structured in a way that requires a commitment of only six hours per year (quarterly board meetings and 1:1 check-ins).

Personalized Newsletters:

Seamlessly communicate with your broader supporter community. Use our templates to provide updates on recent wins, struggles, and asks — fostering meaningful engagement and helping you stay top of mind with one or more of your tribes.

Contact Groups for Supporter Segments:

Different supporter groups should have varying levels of access to you. Create dedicated cohorts of your friends, family, advisors, and professional colleagues to share targeted, audience-appropriate updates seamlessly.

Virtual Coaching and Calendar Integration:

Relationship management can be burdensome. Virtual coaching helps you to keep track of action items and tasks from your board members. For newsletters, you’ll receive reminders to connect with your supporters based on your preferred outreach cadence.

The Peadbo team is excited to help close the opportunity and wealth gaps through community and collaborative mentorship. We hope that you'll join us as you work toward making your personal and professional goals a reality. Sign up for our waitlist at www.peadbo.com and help spread the message that "Self-Made is a Myth."

That's all for now...back to work.
